Retreats

In the Fall of 2019 the Board members attended a retreat at Silver Lake Conference Center for a weekend of reflecting on the history and visioning of the organization.  They broke bread together and brainstormed during quiet times.   The women shared about the various events and activities of the women’s groups in each of their churches.  It was a wonderful chance to share ideas and plan for the future.

Annual Gatherings

The Annual Gathering of SNEUCC Women’s Connection takes place yearly, usually in April. A keynote speaker and workshops highlight a day filled with worship, fellowship, election of officers, communion, a delicious lunch, music and a SERRV exhibit for your shopping pleasure! This is also when we  recognize women from our many UCC churches who have been nominated by their peers for their outstanding work in the church and the community.

 RECOGNIZED WOMEN AWARDS

Include the following: Name of woman to be recognized, her address, telephone number and email (if applicable), name of her church (& town), and why you feel she has shown outstanding service to her family, church and community (150 words or less).

We will also need the name & telephone number of the person submitting this nomination.

Please, we ask that only one or two nominations be submitted per church (and  don’t be afraid to nominate some of those younger women!)
